I, alongside thousands of Swifties and Swiftie associates had been anxiously awaiting my August Eras date, and it certainly did not disappoint.

Eras Tour content is all over social media and the news but I still wanted to add my two cents as this is a hobby and lifestyle blog after all and Swiftie season well and truly became the lifestyle this summer.

Not only was it amazing simply to see Taylor Swift perform the songs live, the Eras Tour is about so much more than that, it’s a spectacle. The outfits, the transitions between each era, the fireworks, confetti, dancers and simply the atmosphere make it a concert like no other, which explains why tickets were like gold dust.

I just wanted to come on here really and write a love letter to the Eras Tour because frankly I felt the experience needed to be documented. One thing in particular that made the tour such a memorable concert is the dedication to dressing up. I personally went with my best friend as the lyrics ”darling I’m a nightmare dressed like a daydream” from the song Blank Space in which we wore matching puffy dresses in different colours. One was black to represent nightmare and one was hues of pastel pink, blue and white to represent daydream. We had sashes we made with the words nightmare and daydream on and of course heart shaped glasses, bows and glitter.

Finally, we spent months making themed friendship bracelets which not only meant the anticipation really built up making the actual day that little bit more special but it also creates a great sense of community amongst the concert goers.
