5 Small Things That Make A Big Difference

With Christmas well and truly over and Spring hasn’t yet sprung it’s important to keep little doses of enjoyment in your routine to keep yourself calm, healthy and happy. So here are five things I do that help add small pockets of sparkle 🙂

Have a hot drink to wind down

    This is one I swear by: Nothing is better than finishing your day with some TV and a hot drink to warm the soul.

    Wear fun socks

      This one is more out there but when you look down it’s good to have something to see that makes you smile. After all, you’re on your feet all day, treat them right!! Fluffy socks do the trick as well.

      Eat a GOOD breakfast

        This is such an important one. After all, they do say breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I love it so much- eggs, avocado on toast, yogurt and granola, marmite toast, pastries… the possibilities are endless. It sets your day up so well to eat well from the outset. Food = fuel.

        Wear things that make you smile

          Every day is a runway. That’s a motto I live by. Dressing well makes you feel good and I find it a lot easier to do work and my daily routine if I feel good in myself.

          Watch your comfort creator

            I know a lot of people say not to rot your brain with social media, but I think winding down by watching some videos of your comfort creator or favourite side of TikTok is important. It’s always good to intersperse the monotony with a few 2 minute videos.

            I hope you find ways to make February magical amidst the cold and grey.
